Alterman, who has admitted to a dual loyalty that sometimes leads him to support Israeli interests over American interests, himself has pointed out the singular loyalties of major American Jewish organizations as well as the overwhelming role played by Jewish neocons in the government and media in getting America into the disastrous war in Iraq.
