Whites Drop to 66% of US Population

According to an analysis of the latest Analysis of Census Bureau data by William Frey, Brookings Institution, Whites have dropped to 66 percent of the total American population, down from 76.6% in 1990.

Only six states (Maine – 96.0%; Vermont – 96.0%; West Virginia – 94.6%; New Hampshire – 93.9%; Iowa – 91.5%; and North Dakota – 90.9%) are still more than 90 percent White, and all other states have more than ten percent non-White populations with the worst US continental state being New Mexico, which only has a 42.8% White population. The District of Columbia has a 29.7% White population, while Hawaii only has a 23% White population. (….Full Article)
