Russia, Israel to talk Syria in Tel Aviv: Israeli Officer
A high-ranking Russian military delegation is set to hold talks with Israeli officials in Tel Aviv on Russia’s operations in Syria, an Israeli officer says.
The Israeli military officer said on Monday that the Russian delegation will visit Israel on Tuesday for talks on ways Israeli and Russian military forces can avoid clashes while operating in Syria.
It is said that Russia’s First Deputy Chief of General Staff General Nikolai Bogdanovsky, who will head the Russian military team, will meet Major General Yair Golan, the Israeli deputy chief of general staff, during the two-day visit.
“The two will meet at military command headquarters in Tel Aviv as part of the two-day visit of the Russian army delegation to Israel. Among other matters, they will discuss regional coordination issues,” the Israeli officer said.
The development comes as Russia has been conducting airstrikes against the positions of the terrorists across Syria upon a request from the Damascus government since September 30.

Sanders campaign apologizes for ejecting pro-Palestinian group from rally
(JTA) — The presidential campaign of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders has apologized for ejecting members of a pro-Palestinian student group from a rally in Boston.
Members of the Boston Students for Justice in Palestine appeared Saturday night at a large Boston rally for Sanders at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. They stood in the overflow area, where the speech was being broadcast on a large screen, holding a sign reading: “Will Ya #Feel The Bern 4 Palestine??!”
The group said they were approached by police and venue staff and told that the Bernie Sanders’ campaign team asked them to take down the sign, according to an account posted on the group’s Facebook page. Police then told them they were trespassing and threatened them with arrest if they did not leave the venue.
“We understand we may have asked a tough question for Bernie’s campaign. However, what concerns us most about being unwelcome in this political space on the basis of a sign is not what is says about Bernie’s stance on Palestine, but rather, his team’s refusal to entertain diverse viewpoints,” the post said.

Israeli forces demolish Palestinian homes in East al-Quds
Israeli forces have razed to the ground homes belonging to Palestinians in the East al-Quds (Jerusalem) after Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the intensification of attacks against Palestinians.
Israeli troops demolished two houses belonging to Ghassan Abu Jamal and Mohammed Jaabis in the Jabel Mukaber district of East al-Quds in the early hours of Tuesday. The two Palestinians had been killed by Israeli forces in November 2014.
The pre-dawn demolitions gutted the houses. Some neighboring structures were also damaged.
Israeli forces condoned off a third home in the Silwan neighborhood of East al-Quds and filled a room with concrete.
The demolitions came after Netanyahu instructed his cabinet ministers to speed up the demolition of Palestinian homes. Netanyahu also called for the deployment of more troops in East al-Quds and ordered harsh crackdown on Palestinians active on social media.

NATO member Turkey accuses Russia of violating its airspace at least twice over the weekend, and has warned it will activate its rules of military engagement if such intrusions are repeated.
NATO has criticized the violations as “irresponsible” and urged Moscow to end raids against civilians and Syria’s opposition forces.
On Tuesday, it stepped up the rhetoric, insisting the violations were intentional.
