Hear Dr. David Duke on Media Double Standards and his own Background

Read and hear Dr. David Duke’s comments on the video of Kelly Francis, the African American journalist and former talk show host from WREG in Memphis who interviewed him during his controversial Klan days almost 40 years ago.

The current host of the show asked the now retired lady, on her 80th birthday, who has been her favorite person to interview during in all her years as a talk show host.

She started off by saying Billy Graham, but then quickly switched to David Duke, and then went on to talk about how much she was impressed by him.

Talking in his reaction to the clip, Dr. Duke said that he firstly wanted to “wish Kelly Francis a wonderful 80th birthday.

“It has been almost 40 years since she interviewed me on WREG in Memphis.  My memory of her eloquence and kindness has not dimmed over these many years. I respected her then and I respect and honor her now. I wish her many more years of happiness and life.

“In a recent interview this very proud African American woman was asked, “If you had to name your favorite person to interview, if you had to name one person, who would it be?

“Among other things she said, and I quote, ‘There were things we disagreed upon, and things we agreed upon, but I believe we sensed in each other a commitment to a world not just for our own respective group but for all peoples.’

“Even then, Kelly Francis’ had a much different sense of me than the media characterization of me. She sensed my humanity as I sensed hers as well.

“Over the last 40 years I have grown and evolved in my thinking as do all people do who are eager to learn from life.

“There are many people who read my articles or watch my videos who immediately see my commitment to human rights and freedom. My opposition to oppression of any people by any other people. The right of every people to its freedom and independence. My dedication, to biodiversity and human diversity and right of every people to preserve their unique expressions of humanity.

“More than a few who love my work and my ideas are surprised when they learn that many years ago I was an activist in a KKK organization in the United States.

“So, I want to take the opportunity of Kelly Francis birthday to address this issue of the KKK in my long ago past and how the media distorts it, and the clear air on my views about this.

“As you know, I am one of the most outspoken anti-Zionists in the world. And as you know, Zionists have an incredible power in the media, that covers up the crimes of Israel, such as its ethnic cleansing, of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, and the murder of tens of thousands of Muslim and Christian men women and children in Palestine and Lebanon.

“In addition to whitewashing Zionists it also loves to demonize anti-Zionists. or anyone it deems an enemy.

“If the zio media likes you or doesn’t like you because of your views, there are incredible double standards of treatment.

“So, I want to remind you how the media treats me as compared to the way it treats others they favor. And I want to clear the air on my past.

“You will all know of Madeline Albright, America’s Zionist Secretary of State, who said that it was ‘worth it’ to kill 500,000 children and babies in Iraq.

“It would seem to me that she supported the genocide of a half of million children would deserve mention in any article about Madeline Albright. But I notice no headlines reading: ‘Advocate of Genocide to speak at Harvard University.’

“Another example is Nelson Mandela, who practically sainted by the media. The Communist Party in South Africa released documents showing that Nelson Mandela was not only a member of the Communist Party in South Africa, but an active member of its Central Committee.

“Yet, although I have been out of the Klan for 37 years, and even though I won three elections since then, the word ‘KKK’ is included in most media headlines. Why then would the same media not say ‘former Communist’ whenever they refer to Mandela?

“Nelson Mandela would never be painted as racist or advocating racist murder the Boars of South Africa, yet, there are videos available of him on YouTube where, along with other Communist party members, he sings ‘Kill the Boer.’

“Double standards teach us who really run the media!”
