The Zionist-controlled mass media has started to hype up stories of Syrian “Weapons of Mass Destruction” in order to prepare the way for a possible Israeli military intervention in Syria.
Media reports have claimed that Syria is about to unleash chemical weapons in the ongoing civil war in that country.
In reality, the Syrian government spokesman Foreign Ministry spokesman Jihad Makdissi actually only said that Syria would never use such weapons against its own people, and that they would only be used in response to “external aggression”—i.e. foreign intervention in the war by outside countries.
In this, Makdissi, was obviously referring to Israel and its puppet, the U.S. government, and with good reason: On July 18, the New York Times reported that US officials have recently been in talks with Israelis ”about whether Israel might move to destroy Syrian weapons facilities” and according to a report in the Israeli Ynet News service, the Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak has ordered his country’s intelligence services to “step up” preparations to carry out a military invasion of Syria to “seize chemical weapons” with the intention of preventing them from reaching Hezbollah.
According to Ynet news, “Israel and the United States are closely monitoring any movement concerning Syria’s chemical weapons’ stockpiles, as concerns are growing that terror groups are taking advantage of the chaos in the country to seize them.”
Of course, the media ignores the fact that Israel has the largest stockpile of chemical, biological and even nuclear weapons in the Middle East, and is the only nation in the region not to have signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
But, because the media and many Western governments are completely under the spell of the Zionist puppet masters, Israel’s violent, bloody and criminal record is ignored and instead, much attention to paid to lies about Arab “WMDs” as with Iraq, Iran and now Syria.
* Israel is also planning to repulse with military force any civilian refugees who might be fleeing the Syrian violence. According to Ynet news, Barak said Israeli troops were prepared. “They (refugees) have not chosen to come close to us, but in the event of the regime’s downfall, which could happen… (Israeli forces) here are alert and ready, and if we have to stop waves of refugees, we will stop them,” he said.
