Dr. Duke talked to Stormfront founder Don Black about George Orwell’s classic book 1984. In particular, the book introduced the concept of “controlled opposition” in the form of Emanuel Goldstein. Goldstein was actually a creation of the Big Brother state, and his manifesto was full of distractions that led potential dissidents astray while allowing the state to discover their identity. Today, there are a variety of styles of controlled opposition, from paid-off willing agents of the state to people who purposely pull some punches or misdirect in order to maintain a platform they use for some legitimate purposes (charitably Tucker could fall into this category) to people who are unpaid and sincere but nevertheless are led by the establishment to push harmful narratives (pretty much anyone who bitches about the ChiComs).
