José Ramirez and the Houston News adds a new attack on David Duke alleging that he is “anti-leper”
The Eternal Life of a Lie
In addition to being portrayed as anti-Black, anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic and anti-gay — read the latest — now I am “anti-Leper.”
By David Duke
Sometimes when I read allegations and bald-faced lies about me bantered about in the press and on the Internet, I have to laugh out loud and wonder if other people can readily see the obvious untruth in them. Are some people after reading decades of vicious hate-speech against me now ready to believe anything about perhaps the most-hated (or perhaps most feared) man in American politics? When one considers that I received over 60 percent of the European-American vote in the state with about the same size and population of Austria, I understand why my enemies have to keep the hate against me coming nonstop. They must have a Second Coming of David Duke always present in the back of their mind.
The latest insanity about me is from an article by John Lomaz titled Love in the Time of Leprosy, the life after death of José and Magdalena Ramirez. As a young man, Ramirez suffered from Leprosy and found treatment at the famous clinic for Leprosy sufferers at Carville, Louisiana. He attended classes at LSU during the same time that I was quite well known there for my talks at Free Speech Alley. Here is a direct quote from the article that takes up after it was disclosed that Ramirez was taking a drug for Leprosy that turned his skin very dark:
Love in the Time of Leprosy
The life after death of José and Magdalena Ramirez
By John Nova Lomax Houston News – published on July 28, 2009
. . .The drug focuses on the cool parts of the body where the leprosy bacilli thrive. José’s entire body was ravaged by the bacilli, so he needed a larger dose. His complexion turned black. He was a black man attending LSU at the time when it was a sea of white faces, and one of his classmates was a Grand Dragon of the KKK. (The Grand Dragon was none other than former Louisiana state representative and failed presidential candidate David Duke.)
There was a soapbox in the LSU student union on which students could freely speak their minds about anything they wanted for five minutes at a time. The Grand Dragon made frequent use of the soapbox and the Bible to denigrate blacks and lepers. And here was José — a (temporary) black man, born of Mexican heritage, a devout Catholic and a sufferer of leprosy. In short, every Klansman’s perfect target. José didn’t take Duke’s taunts lying down, but he didn’t exactly best him in debate, either. He could fight with his fists and shout four-letter words, but he didn’t yet know how to articulate his thoughts.
So now we have it, in addition to all the other allegations against me, I turn out to be an anti-Leper. You have to be really anti-David Duke to believe that I have been running around for the last 40 years of my life attacking those unfortunates who suffer from Leprosy. This insane attack upon me would be laughable if it were not so pathetic. In fact, maybe it is laughable, extremely so.
Maybe they should recount that I am also opposed to cancer victims, victims of automobile accidents, people with asthma, people with dandruff, skinny people, fat people, old people, young people, grandparents, grandchildren, people who wear the color purple, people with pets, people with no pets, people who have big feet.
And let’s recount the other ridiculous smears against me listed here.
If I oppose the politics of Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton, or object to the fact that millions of White people in America suffer as victims of Black violent crime, that supposedly means that I “denigrate Blacks.” Yet, when Blacks and the mainstream media routinely criticize Whites for slavery, “racism” and discrimination against Blacks, no one describes it as “denigrating Whites.”
For the record, and my record is clear for everyone to read, see and hear, I have never used the Bible to “denigrate Blacks.” I don’t consider Mexicans as a “perfect target,” though I obviously oppose the massive Mexican immigration which amounts to a Reconquista of vast parts of America and ultimately remaking of America into the negative images of Mexico.
As for Catholics, I have never in my life uttered a single negative word against the Catholic faith, but have praised many times Catholic devotion to our Christian moral values and conduct. Although I have opposed some Catholic leaders who work for massive immigration, I oppose immigration-supporting Protestant leaders just as forthrightly. It should be said by the way — as my books and article document — the real power behind the massive non-White immigration into the United States have been neither Catholics or Protestants, but Jewish groups and leaders. Radical Jewish organization have been the most powerful advocates of the racial transformation of the United States. Examples are the Hebrew Immigrant Society and the ADL of B’nai B’ rith, along with Boaznian anthropologists, Jewish led legal organizations such as the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and the ACLU. One must also not forget the overwhelming Jewish influence in the media which has incessantly promoted immigration and the transformation of America to a non-White nation. It should also be said that when I point out the radical Jewish promotion of these programs I am not “denigrating Jews” but simply opposing those who are destroying the heritage of America. Facts are facts.
Some of you are reading my own words on this site for the first time in your life. As you read more of my articles and perhaps read or listen to chapters of my books, I think you will find a man quite different than portrayed by the media. Once you actually hear or read my own words you will be in a far better position to evaluate my ideas and me.
In media, the life of the lie is eternal.
But the truth can be just as immortal.
When the lie and truth are put side-by-side, truth becomes obvious.
I am not anti-leper, anti-Black, or anti-Semitic.
I am someone that loves his people’s heritage and freedom and who will stand up and fight for those things.
And the difference between myself and the Jewish extremists, is that although I love and respect my own heritage, I believe in the same rights for every people on the face of the earth, and oppose repression or exploitation of any people by any other people!
Sincerely,
David Duke
