Senior Israeli Security Official Inadvertently Exposes Zionist Lies on Iran

The head of the Iran desk at Israel’s Ministry of Strategic Affairs has inadvertently exposed her country’s lies and deceit over Iran by directly contradicting all previous claims over Iran’s mythical “atom bomb” program.

According to Sima Shine, the top Israeli security official tasked with the “Iranian threat,” Iran needs “a year and a half to complete the creation of a nuclear bomb if it decided to do so today.”

Speaking in an interview with the Times of Israel, Shine said that “it would take Iran “a few months” to produce enough fissile material for a single nuclear bomb and around a year and a half to produce the bomb itself.”

“If the Iranian leader decided today that he wants to build a bomb, and he will probably want more than one bomb … it will take him a few months to enrich uranium to weapon’s grade level. Then it would take a little while to create the bomb itself. The common presumption today is that [the entire process] will take him around a year and a half, assuming not too many things go wrong along the way,” she said.

Her comments, obviously made to show off to the Jewish news source, directly contradict claims by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Amos Yadlin, the former head of Israel’s Military Intelligence, both of who have said that Iran would have an atom bomb by June 2013.

On June 10, Shine’s boss, Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz, told foreign reporters that Iran was between “weeks and two months” away from enriching enough uranium for a nuclear bomb.

In September last year, Netanyahu said that Iran would cross the “red line” by “summer 2013” with regard to the acquisition of an atom bomb.

Shine, on the other hand, has in her comments, admitted that Iran has not even taken the decision to build a nuclear weapon  (“Iran needs “a year and a half to complete the creation of a nuclear bomb if it decided to do so today.”)

Shine is former head of the Mossad’s research department and deputy director of Israel’s National Security Council, and is thus one of the top Zionist Supremacists who has specialized in hyping up the Iran bogeyman.

The Zionist torrent of lies about Iran is nothing new. The Christian Science Monitor earlier produced a detailed list of the all the times that the Zionist liars have claimed that Iran has a nuclear bomb, going all the way back to 199221 years ago already!

* Shine also confirmed in the interview that it was in Israel’s interests that President Assad of Syria be deposed during the current unrest in that nation because “the ‘devil we know’ is worse than the devil we don’t.”
