On Glen Beck’s radio show yesterday, his guest Brad Thor suggested that if Congress will not stand in the way of President Trump “overstepping” his constitutional authority, then a “patriot” assassin should take matters into his own hands.
Dr. Slattery pointed out that the president and the federal government in general routinely “overstep” their constitutional authority, so this condition hardly constitutes a hypothetical. They also discussed Beck’s rabidly Zionist history, which goes beyond support for Israel and includes public statements of his dedication to the Jewish people.
