by Jeff Davis. Seems like the Democrats just can’t keep their fingers out of the cookie jar now that they control Congress and the presidency. They don’t seem to care even when the circumstances are totally egregious and when their risk of exposure is almost certain. It’s like the Democrat Party doesn’t even care anymore. The electoral college gives a heavy weight to states with huge, minority-heavy cities. The Dems think they’ve got the votes to win the Presidency for good now, and so why shouldn’t they shove their snouts right into the trough and gobble up as much of that wonderful money as they can?
A recent news article reports: “President Barack Obama’s push for a national health care overhaul is providing a financial windfall in the election offseason to Democratic consulting firms that are closely connected to the president and two top advisers. Coalitions of interest groups running at least $24 million in pro-overhaul ads hired GMMB, which worked for Obama’s 2008 campaign and whose partners include a top Obama campaign strategist. They also hired AKPD Message and Media, which was founded by David Axelrod, a top adviser to Obama’s campaign and now to the White House. AKPD did work for Obama’s campaign, and Axelrod’s son Michael and Obama’s campaign manager David Plouffe work there.The firms were hired by Americans for Stable Quality Care…”
During the fraudulent 2008 Presidential election, almost half a billion dollars appeared in Obama’s campaign war chest. Does anyone believe that this much money came from Blacks, hippy re-treads and starry-eyed Valley Girls, hot for Obongo. I don’t buy it, not by a long shot. The money that turned up in Obama’s campaign chest wasn’t a gift, and somebody expects to get paid back, big time.
My guess is that the repayment of the bulk sum was deducted and spirited away out of that $787 billion dollar “stimulus” package that no one seems to know where it went to, but all around the edges you can bet that individual Democrats are going to be inhaling all that green as fast as Barry can sign the necessary paperwork for boondoggles, pork, backhanders and just plain corruption and looting of the taxpayer’s treasury. But Barry’s top associates like Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod and David Plouffe will want to line their pockets as well.
