Just kidding. They annihilated their opponents. The debate was intended to be between Dr. Duke and Mark Collett on the one hand against Halsey English and Tom Luongo on the other. Dr. Duke had a last minute emergency, and when Halsey refused to debate with Eric Striker as Dr. Duke’s replacement, Dr. Slattery was brought in. According to the comments on the video, the overwhelming consensus is that Mark Collett is the best debator on the planet, and Dr. Slattery isn’t too shabby either.
By the way, after the debate Halsey went on a live stream to try to clarify his positions. Perhaps his points come across better in this format.
