Jewish supremacists viscously attack an elderly woman and her 70-year-old husband:

Israelis Attack Amalekites’ – With Baseball Bats!

By Rev. Ted Pike

The government of Israel is now authorizing construction of thousands more illegal homes in its occupied territories. But they will need more land. How do they get it? As they usually have – through theft and violence.

In 1948, Israel terrorized 800,000 Arabs into fleeing Palestine . The Jewish state was built on their stolen land (See, Israel: Found on Terror). This spring, West Bank Arabs repeatedly claimed that armed Jewish settlers attempted to evict them from their land through vicious beatings.

Yet such terrorism was difficult to prove. The word of an ordinary Arab does not carry much clout with the Israeli government or Christian evangelicals, who should intercede for such victims. Finally, Israeli human rights group B’tselm, which monitors Israel’s many human rights abuses (1), provided the embattled Palestinians with 100 video cameras.

Recently, four masked Israeli settlers were videotaped as they approached a Palestinian woman grazing her goats next to Susia, an Israeli settlement. They said she had ten minutes to vacate her land. She refused to abandon her land as her parents, grandparents and countless friends were forced to do since 1948. The masked Israelis savagely beat her with baseball bats.

BBC reports that: “Within a few seconds, she, along with her 70 year-old husband and one of her nephews, will be beaten up.” The woman spent three days in hospital. “A dark stain showed through the white gauze covering her broken right arm.” Also, “a bloodshot eye and intersection of scars revealed a fractured left cheek.” Yet she remains defiant: “They don’t want us to stay on our land. But we won’t leave. We’ll die here. It’s ours.”

Confrontations between Israeli settlers and Palestinian landowners occur daily, according to the BBC, but are “not often caught on camera. That, now, is beginning to change.” In this case, the weighty evidence of video graphically showed “victims slumped by the roadside, bloodied, waiting for an ambulance.”

Motive for Terror?
How can Israeli settlers—devoutly religious, ultra-Orthodox Jews—be so cruel and inhumane? This is not an isolated event. Ultra-Orthodox Haridim persecute Messianic Christian Jews, especially in central Israel. (See, Christians in Israel: An Endangered Species) How can this be?

It’s simple. Judaism’s most sacred scriptures, the Talmud and Zohar (Kabbalah), tell them Arabs are less than human. Jewish zealots believe Arabs are spiritual descendents of the ancient Amalekites, a people who bitterly withstood Israel ’s passage from Egypt to Canaan. (Exodus 17:8) Old Testament law commanded Jews to hate, oppress, and destroy Amalek—a command that has no claim on Christians Jews today.

Ha’aretz says Amalek “is each year associated by many in the religious public with Israel ’s enemies in contemporary times.” “Numerous sermons, articles and classes are being devoted this year to the relevance or lack thereof of the obliteration of the memory of Amalek in practical terms in our day and age.”

Rabbi Yisrael Rosen, head of Israel’s Tzomet Institute, told Ha’aretz: “Amalek as a concept and as the object of our battle and our hostility exists in each and every generation…This does not refer to the ethnic Amalek, but to all those in whom there burns a deep and abiding hatred of Israel in a national or religious bias.” God, the rabbi says, is “hostile to Amalek all over the world.” “Only with hostility, and by conquering our human emotions that are contrary to that, will we be victorious.”

Did the four masked Jewish hate criminals meeting an elderly man, woman, and their nephew “conquer” their normal human emotions and heed Rabbi Rosen’s call to violence?

Another prominent Israeli rabbi, “The Rabbi of Safed,” Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, is quoted as having “no moral problem with quashing the wicked – destroying Amalek from beginning to end.”

Christians are “Amalek”
Christians, like Palestinians, are considered Amalekites and in the crosshairs of Talmudic/Kabbalistic homicidal anger.

Rabbi Ovadia Yoseph, spiritual head of Israel’s Shahs party, argued in a 1989 article that even though Israel is not strong enough yet to expel and destroy “churches [which] are definitely places of idolatry and cult practice…we are commanded by our [religious] law to destroy all idolatry and its servants (emphasis mine) until we uproot it from all parts of our land and any areas that we are able to conquer.” (2)

Did you catch that? Since Talmudic Judaism considers Christians idolaters of the false god Jesus, the rabbi is teaching that if things were as they one day shall be all Christian “idolaters” should be killed worldwide!

Ha’aretz’s recent article about the savage beating of two Arab youths by a mob of Israeli teenagers claims that more and more Israelis now view violence as a solution to the Arab problem. Violence in Israel is not just a backlash against Arab rocket attacks and suicide bombings; it is sanctioned by the greatest legal and moral authorities of modern Judaism and Israel : the Talmud and its mystical-revolutionary companion, the Zohar.

Amalek in Talmud and Zohar
Identification of Amalek as anyone who resists Israel’s advancement remains deeply rooted in Talmudic and Kabbalistic Judaism. Most Jewish settlers usurping Arab lands are ultra-Orthodox, Hassidic adherents of the Zohar, or Kabbalah. They exalt its authority above the Talmud and far above the Old Testament. The Zohar teaches that Jews occupy a place of semi-divinity and favor vastly exceeding the lowly Gentiles, which the Zohar repeatedly refers to as “Amalek.”

The Zohar says the Gentile is a form of demon that should be treated with no more benevolence than Satan himself. Gentile “Amalekites” have an intrinsic tendency to disorder the world, causing it to revert to its primordial emptiness. The Zohar calls this chaos “tohu” and “bohu.”

All of those tend to bring the world back to the state of ‘tohu’ and ‘bohu’ and they caused the destruction of the Temple. But as ‘tohu’ and ‘bohu’ gave place to light, so when God reveals Himself, they will be wiped off the earth. But…redemption will not be complete until Amalek will be exterminated. (Zohar, Bereshith, 25b)

The people of the earth are idolaters, and it has been written about them: Let them be wiped off the face of the earth. Destroy the memory of the Amalekites. (Bereshith, 25a)

The Zohar explains how Israel will finally rid itself of Amalek:

Rabbi Jehudah said to him, (Rabbi Chezkia): ‘He is to be praised who is able to free himself from the enemies of Israel, and the just are much to be praised who get free from them and fight against them.’ Rabbi Chezkia asked, ‘How must we fight against them?’ Rabbi Jeduha said: ‘By wise counsel thou shalt war against them.’ (Proverbs 24:6) By what kind of war? The kind of war that every son of man must war against his enemies, which Jacob used against Esau – by deceit and trickery wherever possible. They must be fought against without ceasing, until proper order be restored. Thus it is with satisfaction that I say we should free ourselves from them and rule over them.’ (I, 160a, Pranaitis Trans.) (3)

Is the Zohar Outdated?
Are these the ravings of bigoted medieval rabbis, too absurd to be taken seriously by modern religious Jews? Quite the contrary. Ultra-orthodox settlers live and breathe the Zohar, as do their Hassidic brethren worldwide. The preface to the Soncino edition of the Zohar (4) says:

The Zohar appeals to many Jews in a way that makes them regard it as the most sacred of sacred books! For it mirrors Judaism as an intensely vital religion of the spirit. More overpoweringly than any other book or code, more even than the Bible, does it give the Jew the conviction of an inner, unseen spiritual universe – an eternal moral order. (p. 12)

Kabbalistic “mystic sentiment and emotion,” the preface continues, is “indispensable to Judaism if it is to continue to play its predestined part in bringing mankind ‘under the wings of the shekinah,’” i.e. Jewish world domination. (p. 25)

Although Israel describes itself as a democracy much like America, it was not founded on New Testament values of kindness to one’s enemies, as America was. It is based on the racist “hit back, never forget” morality of the Talmud and Kabbalah. Pharisaic bigotry powerfully motivates Israel to gain power through theft and violence, not to make peace through concessions and self-denial.

For masked Jewish settlers and followers of Kabbalah in the settlement of Susia, pharisaic influence inclined them away from discussion and accommodation with their Arab neighbors. It propelled them into a bloody “diplomacy” of threats enforced with baseball bats.

3. From “The Talmud Unmasked,” by Rev. I. B. Pranaitis. The Soncino version of this passage, contained in Vol. 2, Vayeze 160a, says the same thing but in less pointed language. Scholars of the Hebrew and Aramaic languages translated this and other passages of the Zohar for me out of the authoritative Mantuan Edition of the Zohar (16th century), which resides in the Judaic Section of the Library of Congress. Their conclusion is that, in the case of volatile passages, the Pranaitis translations are consistently superior to the Soncino. In such passages that cannot be omitted, Soncino’s practice is to tone them down by paraphrasing.
